Subject: December 10 post on Torture.

Enjoyed your comments December 10, on torture. Would enjoy reading a post regarding war crimes. I am not an attorney, however, my limited reading of the Geneva Convention would suggest that many of our actions over the past 13 to 14 years constitute violations of the Geneva Convention such as destruction of civilian facilities--water and sewage treatment, generation of
electricity, and sanctions. Current violations of which torture is one are rather flagrant and obvious such as attacks upon civilians who clearly are non-combatants. I read an editorial in a Toronto paper arguing that Bush should have been arrested under Canadian law as a war criminal during a recent visit. (Don't recall where I ran across the citation).

Will continue to check your site. Thanks.
